Its a new year!

Well, everybody its a new year. A fresh new start. I will tell you I am sooo glad 2007 is over. I sure hope this year goes smoother and isnt as dramatic. I will post some new pics within the week. I just wanted to tell everyone I hope you all have a Very Happy New Year!!!!!!!!!!

New puppy!

I got a new puppy yesterday. He is a Miniature Dachshund (black and tan) and is the cutest thing ever. I named him Max (re-max) or as my son calls him Max-a-million. I will post a picture of him when I get one. My kids all pitched in a bought him for me. I am soosoo loved.

Okay I am gonna try out this "blog" thing thats such the rage.

Let me tell you a little about myself. My name is Amy Owens and my day job is a real estate agent with RE/MAX Connection in Byram, MS. My family is my second full time job. We have 7 kids in all between my husband and me. My three and one of his live with us. His oldest is grown, and his other two live with their mom. One of them, JR is 17 and had a dirtbike accident last year and broke his neck and fractured his skull and is now mostly paralyzed from the neck down. I will post updates on him as they come.

My real passion is photography, although I have absolutely NO time for taking pictures. I am going to try and start making time. After our son had his accident and bills got so high and gas going back and forth at the beginning. I had to sell my 1,000 dollar camera that I have taken most of my pictures with. I am going to slowly try to get back going. I am so much happier when I am taking pictures.
